Dan is a queer textile artist and designer living and working in Amiskwaciwâskahikan. They began weaving while studying graphic design as a way to experiment with colour, pattern, and texture in a tactile form - they quickly fell in love with textiles and started experimenting with rugmaking, spinning, and dyeing as well.

Dan is exploring the relationship between traditional craft practices and sustainability; Currently focused on reclaiming and repurposing materials, intentional sourcing, and participation in slow textile production. They are passionate about the opportunities craft offers for a more sustainable and ethical textile industry.
