Alberta Craft is calling all artists to share their love of Craft! The For the Love of Craft Show + Sale is a fundraising, seasonal exhibition of sellable works under $100.00.
This exhibition is designed to help our organization fundraise for valuable programs and paid artist opportunities throughout the year, and we are reaching out to our community of artists for donated works.
You do not need to be a consignor in our shop to participate in the show + sale and all properly finsihed donated works will be exhibited.
Treat
Exhibition Dates: March 8 – June 1, 2025 Alberta Craft Edmonton Feature Gallery
Application Deadline: January 9, 2025, 11:59pm MNT
Calling all pet lovers! Do you make artwork about your beloved animal? Or do you create objects that are useful to pets and pet owners? Treat is an exhibition that celebrates the joy of portraying the personalities and quirks of pets through Craft.
The relationship between people and their pets is a longstanding story of companionship and symbiosis. Our faithful furry, scaly, fluffy, feathery friends and family improve our lives. In return, people derive satisfaction from treating their pets with special toys, treats, or new accessories that reflect their pet's unique personality. Alberta Craft calls artists in all Craft mediums to submit to Treat, an exhibition dedicated to the animals we love and care for.
Craft Perspectives
Exhibition Dates:
Feature Gallery - Edmonton: June 19 – October 18, 2025
Alberta Craft Gallery – Calgary: spring 2026

In 2025, Alberta Craft celebrates its 45th anniversary. As part of this celebration, we are excited to share this call for our upcoming Feature exhibition, Craft Perspectives. Join us in looking ahead by reflecting on the past.
We invite members to create work in response to objects in museums, archive collections, and other historical works in Alberta. Your work can be inspired by an entire historical collection or one historic item.
