The Alberta Craft Gallery + Shop is an important part of the Alberta Craft Council, and run as a social enterprise. Profits derived from our retail activity go directly back into supporting craft artists and the sector.
Your purchases directly support emerging to established craft artists in Alberta, 60% goes directly to the artist and 40% supports the important work the Alberta Craft Council does to develop the sector:
providing vital career support and professional development for artists
opportunities for the public to celebrate our province's rich craft traditions and contemporary craft culture; through exhibitions, Alberta Craft Magazine, national and international exposure, hands-on demonstrations, artist lectures and other free public programming.
Awards & Recognition
Do you have a special event, ceremony or project that requires awards or gifts? Much of the work found at the Alberta Craft Galleries can be modified to include logos, bases and plaques. Please contact our our staff to help find the perfect artist to create something just for you.
