Kudo - ACC Member Les Manning Makes Generous Donation to Medalta - Medicine Hat, AB

Thanks to two very generous donations, Medalta (Medicine Hat, AB) is getting ready to install a brand new natural gas Blaauw kiln in their contemporary artist studios. Blaauw is known for making some of the highest-quality kilns in the world.

Order of Canada appointee, Canadian Ceramic Artist, long-time driver of Medalta's contemporary ceramics program and Artist Emeritus in Medalta's contemporary studios, ACC Member Les Manning (Medicine Hat, AB) - made a generous contribution towards the kiln in 2012. His goal has always been to elevate Canada's ceramic arts - a goal he believes this new kiln will help achieve.

The second donor has similar goals to Les Manning. Calgary based Gwen Strojic has a love of arts & culture.
