In celebration of the 2014 PEI Sesquicentennial, the Canadian Crafts Federation / Fédération canadienne des métiers d'art in partnership with the Prince Edward Island Crafts Council are delighted to present Heirloom, the CCF/FCMA's third annual National Contemporary Craft Symposium.
As a society, we continue to pass down heirlooms of artisan works from generation to generation. This series of short lectures followed by intimate discussion, aims to garner a deeper understanding of how heritage affects the modern experience of craft, through the perspectives of historians, curators, writers and craft artists.
Heirloom will take place in the Carriage House at Beaconsfield Heritage House, Charlottetown, PEI, from 6 - 9pm. Seating is limited, so book your tickets today!
