Announcement: Alberta Budget 2016

On April 14, Alberta's government released details of Budget 2016. Funding for the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) remains strong and stable at $26.6 million. In light of Alberta's current fiscal realities, additional funding for the AFA that was committed in 2015 has been deferred until there is sufficient improvement in the province's finances.
