Cherry Deacon is a contemporary jewelry artist in Calgary Alberta. Graduating with a Fine Arts degree in painting from the U of C, Cherry continued her studies in jewelry at ACAD (AUArts). It was then that designing and making jewelry became her passion.

Cherry is inspired by the delicate qualities of nature with all its beautiful imperfections. It might be a torn leaf, a bud or a simple pebble by the river. The artist’s pieces are characterized by her use of textures, the marriage of different metals (sterling silver and bronze) and mini collages. Each piece is unique and hand made using goldsmith techniques. Cherry was a participant in Milano Jewelry Week Exhibition 2022.
