Frankie loves designing and working with any materials, especially those provided by Mother Nature or recycled. All her pieces are one of a kind, slowly realized and decorated by hand.  

"I enjoy discovering materials and hidden profiles in landscapes, trees, rocks, stone, ice, or driftwood. I love the exploration of nature and I would be so happy if everyone could share my lifelong concerns about the conservation of our environment. 

According to ancient belief, a 'Spirit' carved from a tree brings protection to your home. The Christmas decoration is an original creation, signed and dated. I find the material (old Christmas trees) in Alberta. The crafting steps involve successfully, carving by hand with palm tools, decoration with acrylics, antiquing and/or gilding, burnishing by pyrography, and finishing with varnish and wax.
