Nataliia Iashnikova was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. She developed her felting technique over several years and then began teaching and collaborating with Kyiv designers to create fashion clothing. Nataliia and her family immigrated to Canada in 2015 and she continues to create beautiful, felted fashion accessories. Natural sheep's wool from Italy and local Alpaca wool are used exclusively in her designs. Raw silk, viscose, linen and nettle are also used to enhance the textile.
