Amy & Tanner Skrocki

Available at the Alberta Craft Gallery - Edmonton & Calgary

Inspired by the building blocks of life, ancient history, and nature's perfected forms, their work aspires to capture the essence of the excellence in design from which all things are derived. Amy & Tanner Skrocki (Edmonton AB) describe their work as "designs which are symmetrical, or complement one another, and thrive on a rich organic infusion (that) marry stones, leather, metals and imagination into a unique union of artistic composition".

Amy and Tanner's work is fabricated without molds in their studio "Paragon of Design".  Together they use materials such as copper, sterling silver, gem stones, leather, wood and glass  adopting both traditional and modern metal/leather/and blacksmithing techniques to form each piece. Primarily a self-taught jewellery artist with training in silver and blacksmithing and biology, Amy has completed course work through the Gemological Institute of America to become an accredited jewellery professional. She is currently working towards becoming a graduate gemologist.
