“Drawing my influences largely from architectural forms, human dwellings and natural habitats, I am inspired by notions of space – whether they are public or private, interior or exterior. The contrast of elements such as rough and smooth, dark and light, geometric and organic also inform and influence my creative process as I aim at creating simple forms with much depth. My designs are often reversible or multifunctional, offering he viewer and/or wearer many perspectives on their wearable sculpture.”

Kari Woo’s Signature Collection was the winner of the 2022 Made in Alberta Awards in the Fashion & Accessories category. Learn more here.
