ACC Launches Donate Campaign

The Alberta Craft Awards included the launch of the new Donate campaign. After 15 proposals over more than a decade, the ACC is ready to invest in a permanent second facility. Located in a 1910 historic sandstone school, being restored and expanded as c-Space King Edward Arts Hub, the gallery is expected to open in early 2016.

This Calgary space will expand much of the current ACC activity including 15-20 exhibitions each year; website, e-news and socialmedia; advisory services; media and marketing campaigns; and extensive sales of members’ work.

The ACC needs to raise $150,000 for the new Calgary location toward design, architectural renovations, gallery lighting, display furnishings, marketing, moving costs, and other set-up expenses. For $62.50 you can donate one square foot of gallery space or donate as many square feet as you like.
